April ROC Basic Wetland Identification

Service Description

In this 4-day course, students learn to identify and delineate wetlands in accordance with the USACE Federal Wetland Delineation Manual, Regional Supplements, and additional regulatory guidance. The course provides participants with the background necessary to identify wetlands and determine their boundaries for permitting under Sections 404 and 401 of the Clean Water Act or for avoidance or minimization of wetland impacts. This course satisfies the requirements for "basic delineation" training as specified by the Corps of Engineers and certification programs in many states.
