Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on September 18, 2026

We at Gratzer Environmental Lab LLC. (GEL) are working to make our site www.gratzerlab.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

Gratzer Environmental Lab LLC (“GEL”) is committed to ensuring that our website, www.gratzerlab.com, and all related digital content are accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for federal websites. Additionally, we aim to align with California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and Disability Access laws where applicable.

We are continuously improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we meet the diverse needs of our users.

2. Measures Taken for Accessibility

To ensure accessibility, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Website Design: Our website is designed with accessibility in mind, including:

    • Alternative Text (Alt Text): All images and non-text content include descriptive alt text for screen readers.

    • Keyboard Navigation: The website is fully navigable using a keyboard.

    • Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG contrast ratios for readability.

    • Semantic HTML: Proper heading structure and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) labels are used to ensure compatibility with assistive technologies.

    • Responsive Design: The website adapts to different screen sizes and devices.

    • Captions and Transcripts: Videos and audio content include captions and transcripts where applicable.

  • Third-Party Tools: We use accessibility tools and plugins to enhance compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.

  • Ongoing Testing: We regularly test our website using automated tools and manual evaluations to identify and address accessibility barriers.

3. Known Accessibility Barriers

While we strive for full accessibility, we recognize that some barriers may still exist. These include:

  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded content (e.g., maps, external forms) may not fully comply with accessibility standards. We are working with third-party providers to improve this.

  • Legacy Documents: Older PDFs or documents may not be fully accessible. We are in the process of updating these to meet accessibility standards.

  • Real-Time Communication: Live events or interactive elements may pose challenges for users with certain disabilities. We are exploring solutions to improve accessibility in these areas.

If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please let us know so we can address them promptly.
